Increase your Web writing income, for beginning and established writers
Wednesday, April 11th, 2007    Subscribe To Our FeedMost of the email messages I receive ask one question in various forms: “How can I increase my writing income?” My short answer is always - write for the Web. When you write for the Web, you cut down on rejections. In fact, you eliminate them. And you can make much more money than you will when you write for print publications:-) Steve Pavlina is making $1000 a day, and I’m sure that many people are making much more.
So let’s look at increasing your Web writing income for beginning and established writers.
Increase your Web writing income - for beginning writers
When you’re just starting out on your Web writing career, take a couple of months to familiarize yourself with the online writing environment. You’ve got two primary ways to make money writing for the Web - you can develop your own sites and blogs, and you can also write for others.
My ebook “Beat Your Paycheck: Web Writing Secrets” gives you an overview of making money from your writing online.
Increase your Web writing income - for established writers
If you’re an established writer, and you have publication credits, you’re a valuable asset online. Most Web writers are new to writing - the Web is all they know. As a print writer, you’ll have a lot of fun once you get your head around how the Web works.
You’ll also make a lot of money. For example, for Web copywriting (writing Web sales pages), you can name your own price. I can’t keep up with the demand for my own Web copywriting services, so I’ve become very selective in the writing gigs I take on. I turn down writing offers daily - there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
If you’re not into copywriting, and many writers aren’t, read my ebooks Writing For the Web, and The Perfect Article Writing System to get some ideas of approaches you can take to build a six-figure income online.
