Writing SEO Articles That Get Results in 15 Minutes

If you want to make money online, writing SEO articles is a great way: you can make money immediately, as well as creating passive long-term income. But can you really get results in just 15 minutes?

Firstly, what are “SEO articles”?

Basically SEO articles are articles which you hope will be found via the search engines. The articles use a primary keyword, and a secondary one. People to search for the keyword, and find your articles on the search engine query results pages.

You’re writing these articles for a reason: you may have been commissioned by someone to write them, or you write them because you’re promoting affiliate products, or your own products.

Here’s the workflow.

1. Choose Your Keyword and Benefit

The most important part of your article is the title. Your title should contain your primary keyword, as well as a benefit for the reader. For example check the title of this article — it contains the primary keyword “writing SEO articles” as well as the benefit, which is “get results in 15 minutes”.

Place your keyword at the start of the title. In a sense, your keyword is for the search engines. The benefit is to encourage people to read the article, in order to obtain the benefit.

The benefit in the title also determines whether or you’ll get a result from an article: your article must be found, and it also must encourage the readers to take action.

2. Write Your Article

The next step is to write your article. I use a simple outline in the form of a list to cover the main points which I want to make in an article. I work from this outline as I write.

Do work from an outline. I’m sure you’ve read many articles which are completely junky, and which are written solely for the keyword. Using an outline ensures that your article is logical, and provides a real benefit to the reader, so that you get results, rather than the reader clicking away as quickly as possible.

Big tip: although your SEO articles are written “for the search engines”, remember that your aim is to get your article read, and to win a RESPONSE. Having your article merely indexed is useless. Your article must attract readers, and get them to respond.

3. Use Social Networking Tools to Bookmark Your Article

With your article written, post it online.

Then, use your choice of the social networking tools to announce your article. My favorite social networking tool is Twitter, so I use that.
