Writer’s Web sites: the enthusiasm secret

I love writing for the Web. Creating my own Web sites and blogs is a lot of FUN. It’s a way of creating something for my SELF, rather than for others. This is why I love blogging. I can release my creative energies on a blog that’s for my personal passions, and then use the overflow of enthusiasm in writing for others - the writing for which I’m paid.

Writing for the Web means writing a lot, and this can be stressful

If you want to make it as a Web writer, you need to be prolific. You can have dozens of clients, all of whom are important, and for all of whom you want to do a great job that gets them a fantastic return on their investment.

Unfortunately, unless you know how to handle the stress of many clients and commitments, writing prolifically can lead to burnout.

For example - I sell articles for Web content in packages of ten. This means sitting down for a few hours and tapping out the articles. With the right attitude, this is fast and very enjoyable. On the other hand, if you have the wrong attitude, the stress is harmful.

How do you handle stress?

Your way of handling stress may be very different from mine - it all depends on what turns you on and ignites your energy.

Find out what turns you on, and use the overflow of energy for Web writing.
