If you’re annoyed that you’re in an online-writing ghetto - you can’t get beyond low-paid gigs - you’re not alone. From reading various writers’ forums, I know that many writers are caught in this trap.
However, you can free yourself. All you need to do is realize that the highly paid gigs are out there and the people with those gigs are looking for YOU.

The training teaches you how to thrive in the online world, writing whatever you please, and making a very good income.
Think long term in your Web writing
As I browsed the writers’ forums, I saw that short-term thinking abounded. This is a mistake, always. You must think long-term - at least five years ahead.
For example, I’m currently working on a new self-help site for a general audience, so I was thrilled to read “Self-Help Site First30Days.com Launches With $5 Million from Hearst and Dick Parsons”.
I know self-help is big, and that there’s a huge market for self-help material, but this piece on TechCrunch gave me a boost. These people have research capabilities on which they spend a lot of money, so I know the self-help idea is a good one.
I’ll launch a couple of self-help sites this year, and I’ve created a plan for where I want my self-help sites to be by 2012.
The reason most Web writers think short term is because they’re inexperienced in the enormous range of opportunities online. If you don’t know what you don’t know, you can’t achieve the success you should be achieving.
Think long term. Where will YOU be as a Web writer in five years?
