Monday, April 16th, 2007    Subscribe To Our FeedWeb writers need their own Web sites. I’m not going to go into the whys and wherefores here, suffice to say that you need a comprehensive site. ![]()
Press page - vital - it gets you work and free publicity
One of the most overlooked areas of all sites is the Press/ PR section. Yes, journalists use this section to learn more about you, but so do your clients and prospective clients.
If you don’t have a Press page, write one today. Include:
* A brief bio, with a photo
* News releases - write at least one, to announce the opening of your Web writing business
* Quotes for journalists to use - this is your chance to pontificate
* Various ways to reach you - email, phone, etc.
