This week’s issue of Fab Freelance Writing Ezine managed to confuse some new writers about PLR content.

PLR content is legitimate. No one is ripping off the writers who sell PLR content. In fact, I sell PLR content myself, at PLR Power, a new site I’m developing. :-)

The idea of PLR content is that you write five, ten, 20, 50 or more articles, about - whatever, and sell the article pack to 200 to 500 people to use the content on their own Web sites and blogs.

Do a Google search on “PLR content”, to become more familiar with this practice.

Remember: you’re selling the content not once, but many times, and because you’re selling Private Label Rights, the purchasers buy most rights to the material.

Buying PLR content and using it yourself

You can buy PLR content and use it yourself on your own sites and blogs. I wrote about buying PLR content in this week’s article in the ezine.

If you’re confused about PLR content, don’t worry about it. You can make great money as a Web writer without writing PLR content. PLR is just one way of making money in Web writing, and many writers find that it’s a very profitable income stream.
