You get known as a Web writer and get Web writing commissions in a slightly different way from other forms of writing for money.
If you’re writing for magazines, you’d send out queries (see my Special Report “Freelance Writing: Get Started Writing Articles For Magazines”).
When you’re writing for the Web however, you meet your clients where they are - on the Web.
Hang out where your clients are
Your clients for your Web writing services will be Webmasters and Web marketers, so find discussion groups where these people hang out, and mingle.
You can advertise your Web writing services in the signature you add to your postings. You’ll find that people who work online and own online businesses are starved for good Web writers.
