Get Web writing clients by blogging

I’m a confirmed blogger. I’ve been blogging since around 2002. I was a Blogger.com blogger before Blogger was bought by Google, even. (And I’ve still got the Blogger sweatshirt you sent me, thanks Google.)
Why blog? I couldn’t have said it any better than ContentDoneBetter, who says that blogging:
… brings clients. I’m not a big fan of the query/apply/pursue school of schedule-filling. I prefer to make the mountain come to Mohammed. I’ve found that my blog’s audience isn’t limited to other writers. It’s also a great way to make connections with prospective clients. They find me through the blog. That beats the hell out of poring over Craigslist every morning.
Yes indeed. Blogging brings clients. I’m in the enviable position now of being able to say “No thanks,” to job offers much more than I say “Yes, please”, and I attribute 100 per cent of that to blogging.
So if you want to get lots of writing gigs (online and offline too), then blog. I can’t say it any more clearly than that. If you blog, you’ll get more writing gigs than you can handle. I’ve written an ebook “Blogging For Dollars” to get you blogging fast. My blog Blogging For Dollars Blog is a companion to the ebook.
